LOMOgraphy has announced two new special-edition Acapulco Beach cameras.
The new range includes the La Sardina Caleta and the Fisheye No. 2 Quebrada cameras, both decked out in a striking colour scheme inspired by the Mexican resort.
“We are excited to announce the release of the new Acapulco beach edition La Sardina Caleta and Fisheye No. 2 La Quebrada cameras,’ LOMOgraphy said in a press release.
“With a unique and lively striped fabric design reminiscent of this colourful coastline – each is cut from a different piece of cloth so no two cameras are the same! Designed to take you from sun-soaked days in the sand to the glitz and glamour of the beach club, these new carefree and charismatic cameras are available now from our online shop and selected retailers.

“Second-home to the Hollywood greats, the glamorous shores of sunny Mexico have inspired our new beach edition cameras. Both take 35 mm film and allow effortless experimentation with exciting creative features like multiple exposure mode and bulb mode for long exposures. The La Sardina Caleta comes fitted with the removable Fritz the Blitz Flash attachment and the Fisheye La Quebrada boasts a built-in flash to take you from day to night.”
The new La Sardina model costs £109 in the UK and the Fisheye No.2 costs £69.

The two cameras are part of LOMOgraphy’s experimental range and have been regularly relaunched as special-edition cameras.
LOMOgraphy, which was set-up by Austrian art students impressed by unconventional shots produced by the LOMO LC-A compact, celebrates its 30th birthday this year.
