China Lucky Film appears to have released a new 100-ISO colour slide film – though the emulsion appears to be only available in large format for now.

Images of the new film were posted on the Reddit forum r/AnalogCommunity by user UptonLu after its packaging was published on the Chinese social platform WeChat.

UptonLu wrote on his Reddit post that the “left portrait is the shot with current selling slide film, the right one she said is shot with their first variant test slide film with some filter.”. The sample shots can be seen in the image below.

They said the film was ISO 100, and developed with E6 chemicals. The provided pictures shows boxes of both 8×10 and 4×5 formats.

The new slide film is apparently labelled FuLeKangSong, which UptonLu said was a cheaper version of lucky films made for the Chinese domestic market, using cheaper plastic cassettes.

They said the price for 10-sheet boxes was 250RMB ($37.50) while the 8×10 is priced at 900RMB ($135) per box.

The film is the second colour emulsion released by China Lucky Film this year, after it returned to colour film production after winding down manufacturing in 2009.

Lucky C400, a 400-speed film, was released this summer after being announced at Photo & Imaging Shanghai 2026 in July, a year after the Chinese manufacturer released Lucky C200, its first colour films since the 2000s. Both C200 and C400 have been distributed internationally following their domestic release.

Fellow Chinese photography brand Light Lens Lab has said it plans to release colour slide film in its portfolio of emulsions, though the company is still working on its initial black-and-white film.
