China Lucky film has released two new black-and-white films called Yingzhe 100 and 400.
The new films are different to the existing SHD 100 and 400 films re-released in 2024.
The films have been announced on Chinese e-commerce platforms and are already available to buy. Glimpses of the new film were teased on social media platforms in recent weeks ahead of their release.
Screengrabs of the new film being advertised on Chinese platforms were published on Reddit on Sunday (6 September).
Reddit user Not-minari posted several screengrabs of the new film and noted: “It’s a completely new emulsion, aka thats not the vintage (new) SHD series.
“With the price so close to Ilford Pan 100 I’m really eager to see how it performs.”
Only one example reportedly taken on the new film is included in the screengrabs., though the highly edited image has some commentators believing the image is in fact generated by artificial intelligence.

The film has not yet appeared on Reflx Lab, the Chinese photographic brand which usually is among the first companies to export China-made films to Western markets.
The announcement of the new black-and-white films follows a busy year for China Lucky Film, which has released two colour films in the last 12 months.
Their Lucky C200 film was released in the summer of 2025 and is now widely available in Europe, priced at a similar level to Kodak’s consumer colour films.
In recent weeks, China Lucky film has also released a new ISO 400 film, C400, which is now starting to appear at retailers outside China.
