Description
Olympus AF-1 35mm compact camera in fully working condition, film tested with three-month warranty.
The Olympus AF-1 was one of the first autofocus cameras produced by Olympus and was released in 1986. It was known in Japan as the “Nurepika” which translates as wet flash – this was the first weatherproof 35mm compact.
The AF-1 is highly regarded thanks to its 35mm f/2.8 lens and shutter speeds as fast as 1/750. It has an automatic flash and motorised film advance system, and a sliding cover which keeps the lens protected when not in use – just like the famous Mju compacts which followed a decade later.
The AF-1 is still very usable today, and a great choice for those who want to take their cameras out on a rainy day or out on a boat trip. It can be used with film up to ISO 3200.
