Lomography has released a new Alexanderplatz version of its LomoApparat camera.
The new edition of the camera is finished in silver plastic and black leather, and includes red, yellow, green and blue flash filters, as well as three experimental filters.
Lomography said in a press release: “This experimental camera has tons of inspiring features including multiple and long-exposure modes, coloured gel flash filters, and an array of lens attachments. Shooting unique, wide-angle images on 35mm film, it brings the classic analogue character of vignetting, high contrast, saturation and film grain to every photo. Lightweight and compact, it’s the perfect sidekick for any analogue adventure. Just point, shoot and go!
“The LomoApparat Alexanderplatz is made to tell a story. The wide-angle 21 mm lens and fixed settings deliver shots with bold vignetting, high contrast, saturation and film grain.
“The built-in flash and flash filter slider with interchangeable coloured filters encourage playful experimentation. For those eager to push the boundaries of artistic expression, the MX switch enables seamless multiple exposures, and the Bulb shooting mode is ideal for capturing neon-lit nights and chaotic light trails.”
Lomography listed the camera’s specifications as:
· A silver-metal and black textured leather design
· 21mm wide-angle lens
· Fixed settings for super-simple snapping
· Built-in flash and interchangeable coloured gel filters
· Close-up lens attachment
· Kaleidoscope lens attachment for experimental effects
· Splitzer lens attachment for multiple exposure composition
· Long exposures and multiple exposures
The LomoApparat was first released in 2023 and is one of the Austrian company better-specified simple cameras. The new version is available now and costs £89.
