After teasing its possible release on social media over the past week, LOMOgraphy has announced the re-release of its LOMOChrome Turquoise XR 100-400 colour negative film.

The new film has been announced as available for pre-order on the LOMOgraphy shop, and will be available in 35mm, 120 and 110 formats.

LOMOgraphy has also said the new batch of the film will have a different look to the first generation, which was released in 2015 and then discontinued in 2017.

LOMOgraphy said in a press release: “We are excited to announce the comeback of the much-requested LOMOChrome Turquoise Film, with a new 2021 Formula. This intriguing emulsion transforms everyday colours into shades of deep emerald, cobalt, and cyan while tints of blue fade into gorgeous golden gradients. Available in bundles of 5 or 10 and, pre-orders are now open on our online shop with an exclusive 15% discount.

“As the sole producers of 110 film, we are also super proud to introduce a new addition to our catalogue of pocket films, with the LOMOChrome Turquoise being available in 110 format for the very first time! With extended 100–400 ISO range, photographers can experiment with different hues results while using standard C-41 processing. This experimental film is now back to complete the LOMOChrome Film Family along with our LOMOChrome Purple and LOMOChrome Metropolis emulsions.”

LOMOgraphy has released test images of the new version of the film, which you can see in the gallery below:

LOMOgraphy says the new films will be available for purchase in June 2022, and are available in packs of five:

According to LOMOgraphy’s shop, the five-packs of 35mm and 120 will cost £53.13 in the UK, with the 110 pack selling for £31.88.
