In 2025, Kosmo Foto is going to be publishing many more editions of our new newsletter Advance/Rewind.
As the social media landscape continues to change, newsletters seem to be a much better way of keeping in touch with people who read the site.
Advance/Rewind features exclusive content to subscribers that isn’t published on the blog, and is free to read.
We launched it in April and some of the topics we’ve included in past editions include further thoughts on the Pentax 17 after its release, tips for travelling with film (and not ending up with x-ray damage) and a tribute to the wonderful West Yorkshire Cameras which closed its doors this month (and why you should continue to support your local camera store.)
The newsletter also gives you some idea of features and reviews that are coming up on the blog in the future, as well as news from further around the film community industry (and some posts we like from other blogs and sites too)
The newsletter will also give you advance warning on products coming to the Kosmo Foto Shop and Cameraburo, our online camera store, and the Kosmo Foto Clothing shop on Teemill.
We’d love you to be part of the Advance/Rewind community, and so we’re entering everyone who subscribes to the mailing list from Friday 22 November until 31 December a chance to win a t-shirt, coffee mug and tote bag from Kosmo Foto Clothing (worth at least £58). The prize will be drawn at random on 1 January and we’ll make the announcement on the Kosmo Foto Instagram page. We’ll send the prize bundle anywhere in the world free of charge. The prize will be sent out from Teemill in January after the winner lets us know which t-shirt, tote and coffee mug they want.
