Description
TIME Magazine camera, full working with original case, strap and lens cap.
TIME Magazine accidentally helped create one of analogue photography’s most enduring cults in the 1980s. This camera was given as a gift to those who subscribed to the magazine in 1985. This chunky toy camera actually turns out to be much more capable that many “trashcams”. Made by Lavec in Taiwan, the TIME camera has a focus-free 50mm lens and single shutter speed but no less than four different aperture settings.
The camera also has a working frame counter, a threated shutter release button for cable releases (!) a working hotshoe and a tripod socket. It’s the Nikon F3 of 80s trashcams!
This example works perfectly shutter, aperture settings, rewind and frame counter. It comes with original case, strap and lens cap.
It has not been film tested.
