A classic mid-90s chunky compact, the AF Zoom 105 packs plenty of picture-taking into its over-sized frame. This is not a simple point-and-shoot but a camera with a really impressive range of picture-taking modes – including a macro and “super macro” setting – alongside its 38-105 zoom lens.

Samsung may not be heralded as a major name in film photography but they made a number of impressive film cameras in their time. The AF Zoom 105 has an impressively sharp, contrasty lens and offers many of the capabilities of a modern film SLR without having to change lenses. It also takes DX-coded film from ISO 25 to 3200.

This camera has been film-tested and is in full working order, including the integral flash and film rewind. It comes with a 90-day warranty.

The pictures in the accompanying gallery were taken on expired AgfaPhoto Vista 200 film in May 2023.
