Olympus OM-10 SR with a Zuiko 50/1.8 lens and accessory manual adaptor, lens cap and original strap and Olympus 49mm skylight filter.
One of the justly famous Olympus ON range of SLRs, the OM-10 was first released in 1979 as a cheaper, entry-level camera compared to the OM-1 and the OM-2.
The OM-10 has an electronically controlled shutter which runs from one second to 1/1000 as well as “B”. Originally the camera came without any means of manual over-ride – it was purely aperture priority. You set the aperture and the camera chose the appropriate shutter speed.
However – Olympus later decided to add a manual adaptor which can be screwed into the front of the camera. You just move the camera’s shooting mode from Auto to Manual Adaptor and the camera is fully manual – with the camera showing the suggested shutter speed. It’s simple and elegant and really works.
OM-10s are proving really popular – they’re well made and many were made, so spare parts aren’t an issue. They often sell for more than £100 without a lens or the manual adaptor.
Like every camera offered for sale by Kosmo Foto, this has been film tested and works perfectly. Light seals are a little sticky but still perfectly light tight.
The camera comes complete with lens cap and original Olympus strap and 49mm skylight filter, both in good condition.
