Description
This is a stylish-looking zoom compact made by Olympus in the 1990s.
It has a 38-80 zoom with an f/4.5-8.9 five-element lens. It has a fastest shutter speed of 1/500 and a range of flash modes bas well as a self-timer.
It also comes with DX coding for films as low as ISO 50 and as high as ISO 3200.
The camera has a minimum focusing distance of only two feet.
A great sunny-day travel camera. If you’re zooming to the 80mm it’s best to shoot in brighter conditions, but the 38 wide-angle setting gives you much more leeway.
A really nicely made camera that looks a cut above most other compacts of this period.
The camera is powered by two easily available AA batteries (not included).
Camera zoom operates at all focal lengths, seals are intact, focusing working perfectly.
The camera has been film-tested. The accompanying gallery pics were shot on Agfaphoto Vista 200 film in March 2022.
