Description
Minolta Weathermatic A underwater 110 camera, fully working, water-tight and with working flash.
The Minolta Weathermatic A was released in 1980 to cash in on the growing popularity of watersports. Waterproof to five metres (16.5ft), the Weathermatic A has large controls which can be operated with gloves and has three different aperture settings for sunny weather, cloudy weather and flash. The camera also has five different focus settings, from 0.9m to infinity, and a fixed shutter speed of 1/200. The camera is wound on with a robust wind handle on the underside of the camera.
This camera is in fully working condition – the camera advances and fires, and loaded with one AA battery, the flash fires correctly. The camera’s O-ring is in perfect condition and the camera’s flash mode has been tested in water – everything is watertight. Obviously, without a five-metre-deep plunge pool at Kosmo Foto’s HQ, the camera hasn’t been tested to its maximum depth, but if you wanted a camera to take out on rainy days or on a boat, this will do you.
The camera has been used so there are some marks and rubbing on the body, but no cracks or chips.
The only thing missing is the thick wrist strap supplied with the camera. Another strap can be attached if needed.
This camera requires one AA battery to fire the flash which is not supplied.
The camera has not been film tested.
